Indiana Beverage Website
My Role: Art Director, UX/UI Designer, Lead Copy Writer
Beer distributors are not normally known for having aesthetically pleasing, or frankly, very relevant websites.
I wanted to change that with Indiana Beverage.
The chief point of difference with this company and culture is the people and the passion they have for customer service, and with 75 years of being a family owned operation with a well known reputation for excellence it was an easy choice to leverage that with the imagery and messaging, bringing that same rich sense of dedication and heritage to the site while adding some enhanced functionality as well.
Looking at the analytics for the former site it was clear that it was being used as a portal to either link out to an application service for job seekers or as a repository for price sheets for retailers. Both of those functions were included and elevated in the update.
On the prospective employee side, the objective of the new site was to create a sense of Indiana Beverage’s culture to connect with and inform the job seekers before they apply. This approach also reinforces the best-in-market reputation in the minds of retailers. Another feature on the retailer side is not only a repository of of price sheets, sell sheets, etc., but also a link to order online, pre-order rare and seasonal products and opt-in integrated email marketing to put any upcoming deals at the front of mind for retailers as well as reducing the time they have to spend searching though PDFs.
You can give the site a spin at indianabev.com.
